The Artistic Journey Behind Sharon's Abstract Contemporary Art
Art has always been an essential part of my life. Coming from a family of artists, I have been passionate about creating from an early age. My journey as an artist has led me to explore various styles and media, culminating in my current focus on abstract realism and pop art portraiture.
Inspirations & Influences
I draw inspiration from renowned artists such as Vincent van Gogh and L.S. Lowry, as well as contemporary abstract artists. My work often reflects my industrial heritage in the North of England, while also embracing vibrant colours and expressive compositions.
My Artistic Approach
Every piece I create is a reflection of my artistic journey, infused with emotion, texture, and bold colours. Whether it’s an abstract landscape, a floral study, or a pop art portrait, my work aims to evoke a connection with the viewer.
Community & Exhibitions
Since 2021, I have been an active member of the Sefton Art Group, where I engage with a community of fellow artists, both online and locally. My paintings have been exhibited in art fairs and galleries across Liverpool and Southport, consistently attracting collectors who appreciate my unique style.
